Honey Oil
Honey Oil is a type of solvent-based, non- decarboxylated oil. Honey oil is an oleoresin obtained by the extraction of cannabis or hashish. It is a cannabis concentrate containing many of its resins and terpenes – in particular, tetrahydrocannabinol, cannabidiol, and other cannabinoids. Honey Oil is filtered and winterized to remove both chlorophyll and waxes in addition to other plant materials. It is a concentrated liquid form of marijuana made by stripping THC from quality cannabis. Think of it as “weed honey”.
Honey oil earned its name for its light, amber colour. Closely resembling honey.
Honey Oil can be smoked in a pipe, vaporized, or rolled in a joint. It is not recommended to be used in the baking of edibles, as Honey oil is non-decarboxylated and high temperatures will reduce potency.
